Description:

As a Junior UX Designer at eBlu Solutions, you will work with your Senior UX Designer to support the development team in building and enhancing the flagship eBlu Solutions Portal. This position will require interaction with the business and technical team to ensure the UI is functional and elegant and exceeds our customers' expectations under the guidance of our Senior UX Designer.

Our portal provides practices with a single place for Insurance Benefits Verification, Electronic Prior Authorization, and Financial Assistance tracking. Our goals are to create a more automated process to ensure faster patient care for the healthcare providers we support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Product Owners and Dev Teams through scheduled consultations and work item reviews
• Design user interfaces that are usable efficient and aesthetically pleasing following the standards and practices set by the Senior UX Designer
• Participate in usability testing activities to identify possible issues
• UX Designer will create and maintain design documentation to ensure consistency and collaboration
• Assist in gathering and analyzing user requirements with Team Leads, and Product Owners
• Assist with the evolution of UI/UX processes within the SDLC
• Ability to use wireframes, mockups, and prototyping to assist with interactions, flow, and visual design
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to refine your design based on technical and customer feedback
• Advocate for UX processes and standards through the SDLC

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• 2+ years of experience as a UX Designer
• Experience with front-end technologies used to implement designs (Kendo UI)
• Experience with design tools such as Figma
• Experience and comfort with UX requirements definition & vetting
• Experience with Agile processes
• An online portfolio demonstrating personal design capabilities
• Utilize expert troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently/self-reliant and show initiative with minimum supervision
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply it to appropriate business situations
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict time deadlines
• Ability to listen effectively and seek clarification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong English language grammar skills
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to present complex data effectively
• Provide and welcome feedback
• Put success of team above own interests
• Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and knowledge
• Experience with Figma for design and prototyping
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry
• Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH compliance
• Experience with web-based technologies such as Kendo UI and Angular
