Spectrum Painting in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey is hiring
two (2) full-time Sales Estimator positions . Not everyone will qualify, so please read the requirements carefully.
First year, on-goal total compensation up to $125,000 with no cap, plus benefits You will be covering primarily North Jersey, focused on developing Residential and Commercial opportunities and sales.
You live within 45 minutes of Pompton Lakes, NJ.
You have three (3) or more years of sales experience selling to residential and commercial (B2B) customers, including a 1-2 call closing process. You do not need trade industry experience.
You have the following sales capabilities:
- A love for competition
- Ability to consistently and frequently ask for the sale
- Proactively build a solid pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Use a consultative approach to selling, with good listening and questioning skills.
- Analyze blueprints and project plan
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Well organized, sell value, and use a CRM
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent driving record

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES ESTIMATOR As an estimator, precision and attention to detail are key for providing residential and commercial customers estimates for concrete flooring, painting, and light carpentry. Strong written and verbal communication skills come in handy when maintaining customer contact through phone calls, emails, and job visits for a thorough follow-up and excellent customer service support. Networking and marketing techniques are valuable when you contribute to marketing programs and participate in prospecting activities to grow the company's outreach of clientele. Your persistence and professionalism guide your way to becoming the greatest sales estimator that you can be!
SALES ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS - Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Fluent in the English language
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must comply with our policies including a tobacco-free work environment
One to two years of estimating or sales experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred !
SALES ESTIMATOR WORK SCHEDULE This estimating position is
Monday through Friday during business hours with occasional early evenings and Saturdays as needed. Your flexibility is a significant factor in excelling at sales!
