Job Title: Program Manager - FEMA
Location: 100% Remote (Company based in Herndon, VA)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Program Manager to lead and oversee one of our key internal projects associated with FEMA/DHS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing government contracts and projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the execution of the DHS/FEMA project, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of project requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations, standards, and contract requirements.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Implement best practices in project management to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, proposals, reports, and other relevant materials.
Lead project meetings, both internal and with external partners, to ensure alignment and progress toward project goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management, preferably with a focus on government contracts and projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Strong understanding of government contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
