Responsible for leading the Advocate team in building trusting relationships with patient/families. Ability to problem-solve. Responsible for promoting a culture of patient and family centered care by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the patient advocate team. Responsible for the coordination of team huddles, staff schedules and processes/workflows to maximize departmental efficiency and effectiveness. Assist Manager/Supervisor in the determination of team goals and priorities. Drives & monitors individual & team performance. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to standardize practices, improve, automate processes, & redesign workflows to strengthen our culture of patient & family-centered care. Requires a people-centered, supportive & flexible individual with the proven ability to positively influence and inspire others. An exceptional communicator who maintains a professional, calm, & empathetic demeanor while addressing concerns from internal or external customers. Must have strong conflict management skills & the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, with varying degrees of priority, at the same time. Serves as a resource & a leadership role for the patient experience advocate team. Presents & communicates with all levels of the organization. Responsible for reporting key KPI's.
Estimated pay range for this position is $19.73 - $25.65 / hour depending on experience.

Must be self-directed with strong conflict-management and problem-solving skills. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and able to work with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor, service, goal and detail-oriented, organized and compassionate. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fully proficient in computer applications used in day-to-day functions. Ability to extract data, discover and report patterns in data sets. Preferred: Patient/Guest relations or social work background. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must have been in the advocate role for a minimum of two years. Ability to Supervise staff and business operation.
