Job Summary/Description: WLBT is looking for an MMJ/Anchor to join our team. We are looking for a strong journalist with excellent news judgment and leadership skills to join the highest-rated news team in Mississippi.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Shoot, write, and edit content for the newscasts and our website
- Report live from the field for planned and breaking coverage
- Generate story ideas and build local contacts
Qualifications/Requirements: - 2+ years as an Anchor or MMJ in a newsroom preferred
- College degree in Journalism or equivalent work experience preferred
- Must work well under pressure
