About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineerto join our dynamic team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance our products and services.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 depending on background and experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to address business challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to gather, preprocess, and analyze large datasets
  • Develop and optimize machine learning pipelines for tasks such as data cleaning, feature selection, model training, and evaluation
  • Experiment with different machine learning techniques and algorithms to optimize model performance and accuracy
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance over time
  • Implement best practices for data governance, model deployment, and version control
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning research and apply relevant techniques to our solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on machine learning methodologies and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), R, or Java, and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
  • Well versed in SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling machine learning solutions
  • Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and deployment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in industries such as sports property, marketing agency, brand, entertainment or media
  • Experience with cloud-based AI frameworks such as AWS Sagemaker and Azure Machine Learning
  • Familiarity with deep learning techniques and architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs)
  • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals
  • Certification in machine learning or related fields
