Position Responsibilities
develop innovative, and engaging learning experiences - Analyze the learning need to develop accurate and measurable learning objectives
- Action map learner outcomes to ensure alignment of content to practical application
- Effectively use technology to create innovative and engaging learning experiences
- Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and learning strategies are aligned with learning deliverables
- Identify and partner with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to collect and validate required content to build a learning experience
- Develop content and resources that support learner s throughout the learning lifecycle of the topic (pre, during, and post)
- Develop content and resources which facilitate superior delivery experiences for facilitators
- Develop performance support resources for learners to use at moment-of-need
- Maintain knowledge of adult learning theory and industry standards
- Consistently seeks to improve learning materials through innovation, advancements in the learning industry, and other opportunities for improvement
- Actively utilizes industry resources, including websites, conferences, associations, etc.
- Develop strong relationships with SMEs and IDs throughout to develop content
- Position Qualifications
- Remote Position (with ability to travel, up to 15%)
- Bachelor’s Degree required; master's degree in education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Psychology, or related field preferred and/or sufficient on-the-job experience
- 7+ years of Instructional Design experience
- Able to operate and thrive independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Proven experience taking complex business concepts and converting them into creative, engaging, and relevant learning experiences
- Flexible to working extended hours, as needed, to meet client commitments and project deadlines
- Exceptional planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Learning Needs Analysis (Proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced) Proven experience analyzing needs for a variety of learning events to determine learning objectives and learning lifecycle
- Instructional Design (Proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced) Proven experience designing and developing learning deliverables for blended, virtual, self-paced, and in-class delivery (including use of eLearning Authoring software, such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and Virtual Classroom (Teams, ZOOM) )
- NOTE: A portfolio of recent work samples may be requested as part of the interview process)
- Multimedia Development (Proficiency: Intermediate) Demonstrated experience creating educational audio and video, including scriptwriting and storyboarding (voiceover training and experience a bonus)
- Graphic Design (Proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced) Experience with graphic design for learning (documentation, presentations, guides, self-paced modules, etc.) and graphic learning software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), SnagIt
- Business and Collaboration Software (Proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced) Demonstrated experience using software to complete projects and stay connected with key partners, such as MS Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, Smartsheet
- Communication Skills (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrable advanced communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
