Essential Position Duties & Responsibilities

- Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience. Demonstrate resiliency when faced with difficult situations under all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
- Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Develop and assist managers in maintaining all costs and expenses within guidelines to maximize profitability while providing the guest with an outstanding experience.
- Responsible for the timely development and implementation of menus being mindful of costs, usage, and rotation of products used.
- Responsible for overseeing continued implementation and success of company programs including but not limited to customer service, safety and sanitation to improve guest services and guest experiences.
- Responsible for the development and management of the departmental budgets to maximize the guest’s experience as well as the company’s profitability.
- Development and training of management and supervisory staff to ensure a proper succession plan within the departments.
- Reviews staffing levels with managers reflective of business needs to allow for exemplary service to the guest while maintaining labor but Trains and manages the staff to efficiently produce safe, high quality food, with an appetizing presentation that meets our customer’s needs. Assures documentation of all training.
- Controls food cost by establishing purchasing specifications, storeroom systems, product storage, portion control, and waste management.
- Manage processes and procedures to control and reduce lost time injuries.
- Ensure safety and security for all employees and customers
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and Company policies in an ethical manner and require others to do the same.
- Handle elevated customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to define situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance, 200 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to pull up to 350 lbs.
Mental Demands:
- Must be able to solve complex problems.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to move effectively in and around people and equipment while carrying product and/or equipment.
- Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds and above average noise levels.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience/Education:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, Pastry Chef, Chef D’ Cuisine and/or Sous Chef with 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years casino industry experience preferred.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, Federal, State and Local Vehicular laws and applicable OSHA regulations. Oversees implementation of laws and regulations to meet or exceed said requirements.
Other :
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.
- Must complete all required company training.
