Position Overview: We have a potential opening for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor. This role involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities: Prepare examination rooms prior to patients' arrival Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed Check patients' vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, and blood pressure Obtain and document patients' current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies, and vital signs on the correct form Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released Qualifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program Proven experience as a Medical Assistant Strong understanding of medical procedures and terminology Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Benefits: Competitive salary Monday through Friday work hours, providing a balanced work-life schedule Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Spectrum Healthcare Resources: At Spectrum Healthcare Resources, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and a fulfilling work experience for our employees.
